Dhanvantari Ayurveda Degree & Certificate Programs for 1998-99

 

Certificate of Dhanvantari Ayurveda Training

This course is designed for paramedical participants, especially physiotherapists, licensed massage therapists, health consultants, nutritionists, and skin care technicians. The course trains them to execute prescribed Ayurvedic treatments correctly and to offer dietetic consultation successfully. This course consists of the first two levels of practical training (such as Ayurvedic Massage Therapy, herbology etc.), as well as a series of lectures on Ayurveda. Exams will be conducted at the end of the teaching period to test the knowledge and skill of the students. Students who successfully pass this course will be awarded the C.A. T. (Certificate of Dhanvantari Ayurvedic Training)

 

Masters and Doctorate Degree Programs in Dhanvantari Ayurveda:

These programs are geared toward medical professionals; (Medical Doctors, Chiropractors, Psychiatrists, Naturopaths, Pharmacists, and specialists in Homeopathy, Bach Remedies, Acupuncturists , nurses etc.) who are interested in the ancient Vedic science of Ayurveda, and who wish to add this modality to their practice. Other students without a background in medical sciences will need to have a background in Vedic Philosophy, or will have to take additional courses concurrently to complete their understanding in Organic Biology, Psychology, and Biochemistry

 

Course Format

Courses have two mandatory week long intensives per year, with additional course work done by external study. Each degree program requires that a student must pass a comprehensive Final Examination to be awarded their respective degree. This format allows the students to attend 6-9 classes a day, taught by renown Ayurvedic physicians for one week and then complete the remainder of the course's study at ones home.

October 26th Class begins: One week intensive 10/26 - 11/01/98 held at the Howard Johnson resort in Deerfield Beach, FL. Mandatory for Certificate, Masters and Doctorate Programs. For Level I. Courses resume via external study.

May 3rd, 1999 to May 9th, 1999. One week intensive held at Howard Johnson resort in Deerfield Beach, FL. Mandatory for Certificate, Masters and Doctorate Programs.
For Level II. Courses resume via external study after intensive is complete

October (TBA) 1999 Class Begins: One week intensive 1O/ - 10/99 held at the Howard Johnson resort in Deerfield Beach, FL. Mandatory for Both Masters and Doctorate Program For Level I and III. Courses resume via external study.

May (TBA) & October (TBA) 2000 - One week intensive held at the Howard Johnson resort in Deerfield Beach, FL. Mandatory for Both Masters and Doctorate Programs for Level II and IV.

Accreditation:

Accreditation for our Ayurveda Programs - are currently accredited by the International Council for Ayurveda & Allied Meidical Sciences (ICAAMS) Bangalore, India and American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) (USA). Our graduates are eligible for Board Certification through the AADP in the USA and abroad. Florida Vedic College is authorized to operate by the Florida State Board of Independent Colleges & Universities. Florida Vedic College is the first college to offer Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Dhanvantari Ayurveda in the USA.
